It's been a while since I've sent poems out into the world though I've been writing away in the background. Anyway, I'm pleased to have a couple of poems accepted for the August issue of The Lake -
ooopss... that went to fast... I just wanted to say that the last line of Sitka just blew me away... "The Sitka spruce fallen has left absence hanging in the air like a fracture in the days after a sudden loss." GORGEOUS! YAM xx
Nice to see you're still with us. I agree with Yamini, the last couple of lines of the first poem are great but I much prefer the second poem myself. No accounting for taste. Not sure the last time I was in The Lake. Issue #2 or something like that.
