Some great and funny advice on writing by the UK-born, Australian-bred and now living in Scotland poet, Kona MacPhee. I need to seriously apply nearly all of these points to myself!

Contrary to one of the rules, I swear I write best when hallucinating through lack of sleep.

me too, james, especially the exercise bit - I'd love to go running in my pyjamas!! lol

titus, it's good isn't it?! I wish I could write when tired, I stay up too late at night thinking I'll get writing done but never do. what I should do is get up early.
